Bianca Ilie holds a BA in International Relations and European Studies from the University of Bucharest in Romania and an MA in European Studies from Maastricht University in the Netherlands. During her master's, she specialized in global policy and governance challenges focusing on the changing global environment and relations between Europe and the rest of the world. Her research interests include EU neighbourhood policy in the East, specifically regarding energy security and people-to-people contact. Bianca is a Romanian native, speaking fluent English and has basic knowledge of Spanish and French.
