With Dr. Tarja Cronberg on the Future of Iran Nuclear Deal and the EU’s Role with the New US Administration

As part of our Podcast series supported by Science 14, we have talked to Tarja Cronberg, who was a former Member of the European Parliament and Chair of the Iran Delegation. The issues discussed included the lessons from the EU’s past, present and future involvement in the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action, the repercussions of the Trump administration and the opportunities given by a Biden presidency, and the role of the EU in the global debate of nuclear disarmament and non-proliferation.

Martin Galland

Martin Galland is a recent graduate from the MA program European Policy at the University of Amsterdam, and also holds a BA degree in International Studies. Both his theses centred around the topic of non-proliferation and the international mediation of nuclear issues. His research interests include European foreign policy with regards to non-proliferation issues and conflict prevention, particularly with regards to Iran and the JCPOA. Martin is a French national who has lived abroad most of his life in the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, Czechia, and Slovakia. He is a French-native speaker, bilingual in English, with knowledge of Spanish and Korean.
